Following yet another coaching change at Kaizer Chiefs, the club is once again in talks to agree a payout with the latest man to walk. Amakhosi announced last week they had agreed to part company with Molefi Ntseki after just 114 days in charge with poor results as well as aggrieved supporters said to be the reasons behind the decision.
The Siya crew has been informed Ntseki did not have the length of his initial contract adjusted when he was elevated from being head of technical in 2021 to then moving up as head coach in June.
As per Chiefs' announcement two years ago when the club also confirmed Kaizer Motaung Jr as the Sporting Director and the return of Stuart Baxter as the head coach at the time, Ntseki was handed a deal that would have expired in June 2024.
Indications are that the two parties are set to conclude talks over a three-month settlement, which is usually the standard template at Naturena unless the coach has specific performance clauses as well as a longer contract.
The Naturena-based side have never revealed the details of a settlement publicly and are unlikely to start now as these discussions are considered confidential. However, with Ntseki the seventh head coach to leave the club since 2015, the Glamour Boys have spent a bit of money on payouts.
