Throughout the 2023/24 season and even prior to that, Adams has been closely monitored by Sundowns and other potential suitors for his outstanding performances in Stellies' remarkable run in the DStv Premiership, as reported on Soccer Laduma.
The 22-year-old midfielder has amassed 26 appearances in all competitions for Stellies and has been rewarded for his consistency by being included in Hugo Broos' final 23-man squad for AFCON where he made two appearances at the tournament.
According to close sources, an offer has been tabled by the Tshwane giants in pursuit of the Stellenbosch-born player, with the indications that the offer is going to be accepted by Stellies, as things stand.
"Expect Jayden Adams to join Sundowns at the end of the season from Stellenbosch. Talks have been ongoing behind the scenes and things look promising between all the parties involved and the announcement is expected to be made at the end of the season," said the source.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for a comment but no response was received by the time the story was published.
