The Siya Crew has been led to believe that there is interest growing in Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo, with the possibility of the player leaving Naturena at the end of the season.
Ngcobo's contract with the Soweto giants is set to expire at the end of June and indications are that the club has not opened talks over a new deal as yet.
High on the list of priorities at Naturena, at the moment, is the appointment of a new coach for next season and the club has not expressed an interest as yet in renewing the contracts of players who have a few months left on their deals.
Chiefs are also expected to go into the market to strengthen their squad and it's believed that players such as Ngcobo might not make the cut when they start clearing out and rebuilding for next season.
As previously reported by the Siya Crew, KZN outfit AmaZulu is interested in the services of the former Swallows FC (now Moroka Swallows) defender, but it's believed that there are others who are monitoring the situation of the player.
It's believed Chippa United and Sekhukhune United are looking into the possibility of signing the player, should he make an exit at Naturena. Ngcobo, who turns 30 in May, has made 14 appearances in all competitions for Amakhosi this season.
