Stellenbosch FC have identified another transfer target to bolster their squad that is expected to be raided at the end of the season, the Siya Crew has been informed.
Gauteng's biggest clubs and those in Europe are plotting a raid on Stellies, with some of their top performing stars linked with an exit – meaning that Stellies have had to come up with possible solutions of their own.
According to Siya sources, one name that's made it onto the club's list of potential targets is that of Grant Margeman, the SuperSport United player, who recently worked his way into coach Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad.
The midfielder has been at his mesmerising best since joining Matsatsantsa, initially on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, in a deal which later became permanent.
The Siya Crew now understands that Stellies have been tracking 'Pakkies' closely, with the view of patching up the gap that is expected to be left by Sundowns-bound Jayden Adams.
As reported by the Siya crew, Stellies have also identified Jamie Webber as an alternative, should they not be successful in their pursuit of Margeman.
