Khanyisa Mayo could be eyeing a return to the Betway Premiership after facing challenges in Algeria, Siya sources have indicated.
The 26-year-old sealed a high-profile move to CR Belouizdad at the start of the season, with reports indicating the transfer fee was around $800,000 (±R14.3 million).

Expectations were high for Mayo to thrive in North Africa, but after eight appearances, things haven't gone as planned for the player or the club.
With many of his appearances coming from the bench, Mayo has endured a slow start and is still adjusting to the new league, culture, and team, speculation is growing that a loan return to the South African top-flight could be a possibility.
However, Mayo did show signs of promise in his midweek CAF Champions League outing against Orlando Pirates, scoring his first goal for Belouizdad after coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 loss.
It is also important to note that although Kaizer Chiefs made a late move for the player, Mayo and his representatives had already committed to Belouizdad at the time. Despite this, Mayo has expressed his ambition to follow in his father Patrick's footsteps and play for the Glamour Boys in future.
