With Richards Bay FC still searching for their first win of the season, the Siya crew has learnt that Luc Eymael has again been offered to the club. Prior to the start of the season, the outspoken coach emerged as one of the candidates for the club's coaching position before a decision was made on Kaitano Tembo taking charge of the hot seat.
The Belgian mentor, who previously also coached clubs such as Polokwane City and the now-defunct Free State Stars, had also been considered for the head coaching job at AmaZulu FC prior to the appointment of Pablo Franco Martin.
With the Natal Rich Boyz struggling to get positive results, having collected just one point out of a possible 12 from their four matches so far this season (before their encounter against Sekhukhune United on Wednesday evening), Eymael has been offered to the club again, according to sources.
"Luc Eymael is a coach that is very keen on a return to the PSL (DStv Premiership) as he believes that he has a role to play in South African football after his achievements with his previous clubs. He had been considered at both Richards Bay FC and AmaZulu FC before the two clubs decided on other coaches for the start of the season," said an informant.
"Don't be surprised if the coach ends up here at some point during the season. His record speaks for itself here after he won the Nedbank Cup with Free State Stars, among his achievements," the source added.
Richards Bay next face Moroka Swallows, after the FIFA break, which will give Kaitano Tembo time to work on some of his team's shortcomings.
