The Siya crew understands that the remaining few months of the season will be crucial in deciding Nhlanhla Mgaga's future as a Stellenbosch FC player.
Following his switch from Baroka FC in the 2021/22 season, one which saw a number of DStv Premiership clubs chasing his signature, Mgaga has established himself as a key part of the side's plans.
The 27-year-old made a total of 26 appearances in all competitions for the Cape Winelands outfit last season and has featured 14 times in the current campaign.
The player's two year-contract with the club comes to an end in June 2024, meaning he is fast approaching the last six months of his deal, which will leave the technical team with a decision to make regarding what happens next in his career at Stellies.
The club does have an option for a further year on the Soweto-born star's contract, which means they have the final say on his future. However, talk of a possible exit at this point cannot be ruled out. He has featured in all but three matches for coach Steve Barker's side this campaign, but only thrice as a starter.
