It sounds like the hosting of Chippa United's matches at the Buffalo City Municipality (BCM) has come under threat.

For some time now, Chippa have been playing some of their matches at the BCM – either in East London or in Mdantsane. Chippa's most recent match – an Absa Premiership clash against Cape Town City – was played at Mdantsane's Sisa Dukashe Stadium last weekend.
Furthermore, The Chilli Boys will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in their Telkom Knockout Last 16 game on Sunday.
According to sources, Chippa might have to stop taking some of their home matches to the BCM. Reports indicate that the BCM feel that their relationship with the PSL side is 'unsustainable'.

While the match against Downs is expected to take place in Mdantsane as planned, the Port Elizabeth outfit is believed to be waiting for official communication from BCM informing them of the latest developments regarding their relationship.
