Having parted ways with Sekhukhune in November, Truter has been away from the limelight while assessing his options and enjoying quality time with the family and loved ones in Cape Town.

News reaching the Siya crew is that Truter could be set to join Motsepe Foundation Championship rookies Upington City FC to help them finish in a decent position in the second tier league and to prepare for next season.
Under Thulani Nkosi, who guided the club to promotion through the ABC Motsepe League's national playoffs at the end of last season, the Northern Cape outfit has won eight from 24 matches.
