University of Pretoria are set to make a decision on striker Thabo Mnyamane, the Siya crew has learnt. The player has spent the last few days training with his former side in hopes of landing a contract. He has been without a club since parting ways with Marumo Gallants in July last year.
In that season, the 31-year-old managed 19 appearances before picking up a nasty knee injury. The said injury has seen the former North West University and SuperSport United man spend over a year on the sidelines. However, he has resurfaced at the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, where he first cut his teeth in professional football.
This publication has been informed that Tuks are in need of a marksman of Mnyamane's calibre, although the side are biding their time to determine whether he has shaken off his injury woes.
The good news for the Vaal-born star is that he is a free agent and not bound by the transfer window, though he will be looking to get back onto the field after a year away.
