SuperSport United are yet to express an interest to keep Tanzanian player Abdulrazack Hamza.
Hamza signed a one-year contract from Namungo FC before the start of the campaign, with the Tshwane side wanting to see what the player would offer before pinning him down to a long-term contract.
But, as things stand, SuperSport are yet to express an interest to keep him and indications are that they might not keep the player.
In total, the 21-year-old who can play in both defence and midfield has made just eight appearances in all competitions. He has not made an appearance in 2024, which should be a concern for him heading towards the end of the season, with management set to make a decision on the futures of quite a few players in the team, including him.
Hamza, who has made just two starts in the Premiership this season, has made most of his appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup. Before SuperSport were knocked out of the continental club competition, a number of players who do not feature regularly in domestic competitions were given valuable playing minutes.
But with the club no longer competing on the continent, game time is hard to come by for the likes of Hamza. The player could leave the club and make a return to Tanzania, though it's understood that he is interested in staying in the PSL.
