Victor Letsoalo has not quite been able to repeat his fine campaign at Royal AM last season at Sekhukhune United this term, but Brandon Truter has explained why the former Kaizer Chiefs target has not hit the back of the net regularly.
Letsoalo was linked with a move to Naturena last season and, at one point, it looked as though the deal would actually happen, but he ended up making a move to Sekhukhune, after finishing the campaign on 17 goals in all competition, his best campaign in the topflight of South African football.

This season, the 30-year-old has rattled the back of the net just five times, but there are a few reasons for this, which Truter explained to the Siya crew recently.
"It's a new tactical approach for Victor, in terms of our playing style and playing formation as well. He possesses so many strengths in terms of his movement and ability in one versus ones and coming inside from the wide areas as well," Truter said to the Siya crew.
"He gives another dimension. Yes, he is playing wide and he has scored most of his goals (previously) from a central possession, but I am happy with his contribution so far. We would like to have our best attackers on the pitch and Victor is one of them."

Letsoalo has been a key player for the club, playing in 30 matches in all competitions this season, and could get some silverware to celebrate this season with Sekhukhune in the final of the Nedbank Cup, where they will face Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
