Midfielder Sammy Seabi has confirmed he is yet to receive communication from Mamelodi Sundowns regarding his future with the club.
The former Polokwane City star is currently on loan to Sekhukhune United from the Brazilians, his third loan spell since signing with the side back in 2019.
He has previously spent time on loan to Chippa United and Swallows FC and has received valuable game-time away from Chloorkop, where competition in the middle of the park is tough, with the likes of Teboho Mokoena, Sphelele Mkhulise and Bongani Zungu in the mix.
Sekhukhune head coach Brandon Truter recently expressed to the Siya crew that the club is interested in keeping the lanky player on a permanent basis and will discuss things with the Tshwane giants to ensure they keep Seabi beyond the end of the current campaign.
As things stand, Seabi is unsure of what will happen next in his career.
"I wouldn't say much on that. It's football and I'll just wait until the season finishes. That's when I will know when what is what. We will see when the season ends," the 28-yearold said, speaking to the Siya crew.
"So far, so good. I am happy with the progress, but I can do more, and I am also happy that I am helping and contributing to the vision of the team. Personally, I take it one step at a time. I make sure that I work on myself and make sure that I help the team to get where they want," he added.
