Sekhukhune United are believed to be planning to release goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua as they aim to revamp their goalkeeping department ahead of next season, the Siya crew has been informed.
The club is expected to be targeting Royal AM shot-stopper Xolani Ngcobo as a potential replacement.

Insiders close to Sekhukhune have indicated that Kazapua, who joined Babina Noko last season from Chippa United, is set to depart as the team looks to integrate younger options into their roster.
"The club signed him as a backup. Now, it seems they believe they can sign another goalkeeper younger than him who can compete with Renaldo Leaner next season as Badra Ali Sangare is also in his twilight years. That's why they are looking at releasing Kazapua and bring in another goalkeeper next season," the insider told the Siya crew.
A second insider revealed that Sekhukhune’s primary target is Ngcobo, who was linked to Kaizer Chiefs, although the decision to sign him hinges on developments within Royal AM.

"Yes, they are apparently looking at Xolani Ngcobo from Royal AM and that's why they are looking at releasing Lloyd (Kazapua) so that they can accommodate the new signing. So for now, it's Kazapua who is on that list. But they are still looking at the situation with Royal AM and they will make the final decision but they are interested in Ngcobo," the second source told Soccer Laduma.
Kazapua, a Namibia international, has struggled for game time since joining Sekhukhune. Soccer Laduma reached out to Sekhukhune United for official comment, but no response was received by the time of publication.
