June 2021 will mark a decade since a bright-eyed Serero spread his wings and departed Mzansi shores after mesmerizing his counterparts in the PSL.
Serero enjoyed an eight-year stay in the Netherlands where he spent six years with Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, before moving on to Vitesse, where he spent a further two seasons.
It was two years ago that Serero opted to swap the bright lights of Europe for the oil-rich Gulf region, where he has been a star performer for UAE Gulf League side Al Jazira.
In this time, the man, who is affectionately known as 'Cream', has seen a significant rise in his market value.

According to Transfermarkt, Serero left Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) for €1M (±R18M). Over the next two years, Serero's stock steadily increased, which saw him reach his market highest market value of €4M.
Despite a drastic decline in his value, which saw him return to his initial €1M (±R18M) valuation following a fallout with the Ajax hierarchy, Serero's latest move means that his market value has made a recovery and currently sits at €3M (±R54M).
Serero's latest contract in the east means that the 30-year-old is currently the second most valuable South African player.
