It's that special time of year again! The annual Soccer Laduma Readers' Player of the Season campaign has returned, giving YOU the voice to celebrate this season's standout performers, powered by Hollywoodbets. This cherished football tradition puts the power directly in fans' hands to recognize excellence on the pitch.
Our editorial team has selected 20 exceptional talents who defined the 24/25 season, but only YOUR votes will determine which players make it to the second round.
This is your opportunity to honour the players who brought the Beautiful Game to life this season! Voters stand a chance to win their share of R50,000 in cash.
How the voting works:
- There will be 5 rounds of voting.
- After each round, there will be a cut based on which players have the least votes.
- 4 players will be cut in Round One!
- You can vote up to six times per round – however, only one vote per reader is allowed per day.
- You can use all six votes on the same player or spread the love and vote for different players each day.
- You must be registered on the Soccer Laduma site to cast a vote. Registration is free.
- Voting will open every Thursday at 06h00 and close the following Tuesday at 14h00.
- At the start of each new round of voting, the voting scores of the players will be reset to zero so everyone starts evenly again.
PRIZES TO BE WON!
- In each round, there will be 5 winners, winning R1,000 each!
- In addition, there is a grand prize of R25 000 in cash to be won by one lucky reader in the last round of voting. The winner must have voted in all five rounds.

- To vote, you must be registered and logged in — registration is free.
- Each person may vote once per day.
- Voting opens every Thursday at 6h00 and closes every Tuesday at 14h00.
To be eligible to win the prize, you have to have the below:
- A valid form of identification is required.
- You must have a South African bank account and provide proof of your bank details.
