Orlando Pirates look set to extend the contract of one of the club's key players.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, the contract of goalkeeper Richard Ofori expires on 30 June, with the club expected to open talks with the player for a new deal.

Sources have revealed that the Buccaneers are understood to be ready to offer the shot-stopper a two-year deal.
"If there was nothing happening he could have already been a free agent by now. You must understand that his contract is expiring in June this year and knowing how good he is, other teams could have already poached him. But because the team wants to keep him for longer that's why they have offered him another two years contract. You should also understand that he is still the team's number one and its only the injury that has kept him out. But its good now that he is training full time with the team and its just a matter of time before he returns. Who knows it could be very soon," a source indicated to the Siya crew.
Ofori has been out of action for some time due to injury, which also prevented his participation at the FIFA World Cup.
The shot-stopper joined Orlando Pirates in 2020 from Maritzburg United, with indications that the 29-year-old is still part of the plans at the club and talks regarding the player's future look set to be finalized in the coming weeks.
