"Congratulations to the opponent as well, it's a team that wants to play football, in both games, they tried to play and that helps a lot to have an opportunity to see a good show," Riveiro said on SuperSport."Goal chances both sides, the beginning of the game very tactical. Little by little we started to impose our tempo. We got the lead and from there I think we felt much more comfortable.
"A lot of chances to finish the game in transitions, in the second-half. But I think today the team played with a nice character, strong character, with personality, enjoying to play football, that's the most important thing. I think everybody was trying their best. We offered a good show, people are happy. It's nice to see Orlando [Stadium] this way, so ja a beautiful day," Riveiro said.
Riveiro opened about how much bigger the support is now compared to when he joined the club two years ago.
"In 2022 when I did start here, I think I was a little bit surprised with the influence of our people in our stadium, knowing the amount of fans we have," he added..
"But now we know clearly what they want. We try to give it all the time. Our obligation is to give our all in every game and when we do it, the talent is there, so. We are always able to offer good games, winning or not winning," the 46-year-old coach added.
