Despite his last professional match coming more than three years ago, former Orlando Pirates winger Tlou Segolela has not called time on his career just yet.
'Sox' made a name for himself as a speedy winger during Bucs' 'double treble' winning seasons. However changes in coaching and inconsistent performances saw him leave the Buccaneers for the now-defunct Platinum Stars before ending up at Polokwane City, where he enjoyed an underwhelming spell.

Still only 32, Segolela who these days works as a football manager for Polokwane City Rovers, a team campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League under the North West region, opened up in Soccer Laduma's edition 1185 about his desire to return to the top flight.
"No, I have not retired. I believe that I can still play and offer a lot in the game. I can do what players do, which is putting a smile on the fans' faces, by doing what I know, which is to play the game.
"At the moment, it's just a waiting game. But I am happy with what I am doing at the moment. As I have indicated, I still have the legs to keep on playing and I am still in love with the game. That's what's happening at the moment," Segolela said.

Segolela reveals he has no fears of becoming a 'forgotten man' in the football fraternity, and knows what the requirements are to get to peak condition should he return to the field.
"Luckily, at this time we've had no football (due to COVID-19), which is about four months of people not doing anything. To reach that level won't take too long. If you are in a professional set-up, it will take six weeks maximum and then you will be in top shape. Besides that, people know what I can offer and what is needed now is just that opportunity to get a club where I can play.
"I'll keep myself in shape and when an opportunity arises, then I should be ready. Recently I was keeping myself fit by training alone. I've got other guys where I am based who I train with," he concluded.
