An Orlando Pirates star is understood to be assessing his options with a possibility to leave the club at the end of the season.
As reported in edition 1320 of Soccer Laduma, there has been a deadlock in the contract negotiations between Pirates and Ben Motshwari, according to sources, with the indications that the Soweto giants have had another contract offer rejected for the midfielder.

Motshwari's current deal with the Buccaneers will expire at the end of June and it is believed that he is eyeing a long-term contract extension to secure his future while the club is understood to have offered a one-year deal so far.
According to sources, Sekhukhune United is monitoring the situation with the 32-year-old, while it is understood that SuperSport United and AmaZulu have also showed interest in the player.

Motshwari hasn't featured in the last four matches for Bucs and his last appearance was when he came on as a substitute for the last two minutes against Venda Football Academy in the Nedbank Cup round of 16.
In planning for his future, the Randfontein-born player is understood to be also concerned about his lack of game-time, having made only three starts from 13 appearances in Bucs' 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign.
