After sealing a spot in the Nedbank Cup semi-final, Amakhosi would have loved to have a full strength team to face Babina Noko, especially given their first round loss against Brandon Truter's side in January.
However, Arthur Zwane and his technical team will be without veteran defender Sfiso Hlanti who is serving a suspension due to the amount of yellow cards collected.
Hlanti has proved to be a vital cog in Chiefs' defence this season and has featured in 12 consecutive matches prior to his one-match suspension.
The last time Hlanti missed a league match was also due to suspension was in January, after accumulating four yellow cards earlier in the season.
With Chiefs looking to close the gap on both Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United, the team will also be without midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.
The dreadlocked midfielder picked up his fourth yellow card in the match against Royal AM and will sit out Sunday's match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
