Kaizer Chiefs' corporate communications manager, Vina Maphosa is confident that the Soweto giants will be lead to glory against Mamelodi Sundowns, whether it be with or without a new head coach at the helm.
The two sides will lock horns in the inaugural Shell Helix Cup on July 21, with Chiefs' Maphosa revealing that despite the clash being not too far away, Amakhosi will compete on the day with or without a mentor.

In the meantime, assistant coach, Patrick Mabedi is expected to guide the team, with Maphosa also adding that South Africa's number one, Itumeleng Khune will also play his part.
"Coming to the pitch, we know that it is a national question, once you find a matter becoming a national question, you must know that the team is very huge. Kaizer Chiefs is very high at every corner. I mean old and young, at bus stops, at taverns and even at churches, the pastors, the preachers are asking about the Kaizer Chiefs coach," Maphosa said.
"That shows the importance of the brand and the importance of the club, just let me not waste your time to mention that, be it a coach, be it a Patrick Mabedi, Kaizer Chiefs will be led and Kaizer Chiefs will contest, will compete on the day.
"Through the tunnel (we) will be led, will also have a captain that is number one in the country, Itumeleng Khune. So let us remove the issue of the coach and just confirm that on the day, be it a new coach or the entire 12 of our technical team, we will be led to glory on the day," he added.
