News reaching the Siya crew is that a Venda Football Academy midfielder has attracted interest from topflight clubs, after an impressive season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
VFA are currently in 14th position on the log and facing a fight against relegation.
Siya sources have indicated that attacker Kgothatso Mariba is believed to be on the radar of two DStv Premiership sides, with indications that interest has since intensified after the 23-year-old's performance against Orlando Pirates in the round of 16 Nedbank Cup.

"There are actually two PSL teams interested in his services. The interest started some time back but gained momentum after that game against Orlando Pirates in the Nebank Cup. I can tell you that one team is Royal AM but can't say about the Gauteng team at the moment but as soon as things move a step further I will tell you which team. But for now, know that one Gauteng team and Royal AM are interested in Mariba," the source said.
When called for comment, Royal AM General Manager Richard Makhoba could neither deny nor confirm the interest.
"Yes, I can't say anything now. I didn't even watch that game (Pirates v VFA) but if there is anything I will come back to you. Let's keep in touch and I will update you if something happens," Makhoba said.
