Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has had to make some tough decisions in cutting his squad down for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, as he confirmed his 23-man side to take on Liberia.
Broos initially named a 35-man preliminary squad for the two qualifiers against Liberia and it appeared a big part of the nation was delighted to see the inclusions, with exciting players such as Cassius Mailula, Kobamelo Kodisang and Thapelo Maseko making the side.

The coach has finally named the final squad and has picked a strong attack to ensure Bafana Bafana get maximum points.
In form Sundowns striker Cassiua Mailula has been included in the squad, as well as Orlando Pirates top scorer Monnapule Saleng, two players who are seen as possible candidates for the PSL footballer of the season award.
