Dondol Stars players have been thrust into the spotlight after the club defeated two Premiership sides in SuperSport United and AmaZulu FC in the Nedbank Cup, before losing to Orlando Pirates on penalties.
One of the club's stand out players, Tebogo Makungo is believed to be monitored by topflight clubs.

Sources have informed the Siya crew that the 30-year-old is being eyed up by two Premiership outfits.
"The player we are talking about is Makungo (Tebogo). The one who scored against Pirates. There are two teams who I know have shown serious interest. One is AmaZulu and the other one I can't say at the moment because they were talking to the chairman," a source informed the Siya crew.

When asked about teams interested in their player, co-coach Vincent Rammoni could neither deny nor confirm.
"There are many teams which have shown interest in our players, but for now we are not entertaining that, as our focus is on winning the ABC Motsepe League and go to the play-offs to fight for promotion to the Motsepe Foundation next season," Rammoni observed.
