Polokwane Claim Derby Spoils, TTM Off The Mark!

Cape Town Spurs won their first game of the season after a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Magesi on Friday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Vuyisile Wana broke the deadlock for Magesi towards the end of the first stanza but Ashley Cupido found the equaliser for Spurs with 19 minutes remaining on the clock.

Therlo Moosa snatched the winner for Shaun Bartlett's charges with ten minutes to go.

Saturday, 10 September

All Stars could not maintain their winning start after playing to a goalless draw against Baroka on Saturday afternoon at Baroka Village.

Bakgaga secured their first point of the season while All Stars made it four points from two matches and are yet to concede.

Hungry Lions maintained their perfect start after edging Pretoria Callies 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Muzomuhle Khanyi scored the only goal of the match for Lions just before the half-time break.

Rise and Shine kept a cleansheet for the second game in a row, with four points on the board while Lidoda Duvha lost for their second successive game.

Venda Football Academy 1-0 Platinum City Rovers

Venda Football Academy got off the mark at the second time of asking after a narrow 1-0 win over Platinum City Rovers on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Thanzi Mbedzi scored the decisive goal for VFA in the first stanza, as they clinched their first points of the season while City Rovers suffer back-to-back defeats.

JDR Stars 0-0 Casric Stars

Casric Stars' perfect start was halted after playing to a goalless draw against JDR Stars on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

The Hammer Boyz picked up their first point on the board while Casric kept a cleansheet for a second successive game and clocked four points from two matches.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila got their campaign up and running after a 2-0 win over NB La Masia on Sunday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Mthokozisi Nene broke the deadlock for TTM just before the half-time break and Moeketsi Sekola doubled their lead early in the second stanza.

Uthongathi 0-0 University of Pretoria

Uthongathi's perfect start was halted after they were held to a goalless draw by University of Pretoria on Sunday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

The Cane Cutters had to settle for four points from their first two games while AmaTuks drew their second successive game.
