Chiefs have been blowing hot and cold this season, as they come into the clash winless their last two matches in the league after playing to a goalless draw against AmaZulu last weekend.
Amakhosi find themselves in an unfamiliar position of 14th but a win this afternoon can take them up to seventh.
Gallants, on the other hand, have reportedly made coaching changes, coach Romain Folz resigned last week.
Folz was not with the team when their winless streak continued in a 1-1 draw against Swallows last weekend, as his assistant Raymond Mdaka barked out instructions on the bench.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are the only side without a win so far this season and are rooted at the bottom of the log with five points.
Chiefs shaded the contests between the sides last season, as they edged Gallants 1-0 at FNB Stadium after a goalless draw in the reverse fixture.
