Teams: Bloemfontein Celtic v SuperSport United
Date: 09 February 2021
Venue: Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium
SuperSport United can close in on the league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with a win in a DStv Premiership clash against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Tuesday.
A 1-1 draw against Swallows FC in their last league match brought Matsatsantsa to one win and two draws from three matches prior to their Nedbank Cup exit to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
Celtic were also ousted from the aforementioned cup in a 4-0 thrashing by Cape Town City, but their league fortunes seem to be on the up presently.
Siwelele Sa Masele trail the top-eight bracket by four points from 12th spot after winning one of their last three matches in the Premiership.
Matsatsantsa, who sit in second spot five points from Sundowns, won the first round clash last month but Siwelele edged United in the MTN8 semi-finals early in the season.
