Teams: Bloemfontein Celtic v Black Leopards
Date: 25 November 2020
Venue: Dr Molemela Stadium
Bloemfontein Celtic will be searching for their first victory in the DStv Premiership when they host Black Leopards on Wednesday evening.
Celtic's brilliant run to the MTN8 final has seemingly come at a cost, as they are one of only two teams yet to win a league match this season.
John Maduka's charges have lost three consecutive games in the DStv Premiership, the last of which was a heavy 4-2 defeat to Cape Town City on Sunday.
As a result, Siwelele are languishing second-from-bottom on the log with only one point from four matches and a win will take them out of the drop zone.
Leopards, on the other hand were on a similar run a week ago after losing three consecutive games under Belgian coach Patrick Aussems.
However, Lidoda Duvha parted ways with Aussems and got their first win of the campaign after edging Maritzburg United 1-0 on Saturday following the reappointment of Dylan Kerr, who was not on the bench.
The win over Maritzburg took Leopards off the bottom of the table and up to 14th on the log and they could get closer to the top eight with another victory.
The sides cancelled each other out in their duels last term, as Leopards won the first round clash 1-0 before Siwelele thumped the Limpopo side 4-2 in the reverse fixture on home soil.
