CAF Champions League Starting XI: Mamelodi Sundowns v Belouizdad 09 April 2021

Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Belouizdad

Date: 09 April 2021

Venue: Loftus Versfeld

Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to finish their CAF Champions League group campaign unbeaten when they host Belouizdad on Friday afternoon.

The Brazilians' winning streak in Group B came to an end after they were held to a goalless draw by Al Hilal Omdurman in Sudan last Friday.

However, Masandawana had already qualified for the quarter-finals, with their top spot already secured and they will be looking to end the campaign unbeaten, currently seven points clear of second-placed Belouizdad.

The Algerian side, on the other hand, will be desperate for points, having the destiny of qualifying to the knockout stages in their own hands.

Belouizdad boosted their chances of advancing to the quarter-finals after eliminating TP Mazembe with a 2-0 victory last Friday, to hold a two-point lead over third-placed Al Hilal.

The Great Chabab have a huge score to settle after they were trounced 5-1 by Sundowns in their first meeting in February at a neutral venue in Tanzania.

The clash will be live on SABC One at 15h00.

Sundowns: Goss, Nascimento, B.Onyango, Mudau, Modiba, Mvala, Maluleka, Kekana, Morena, Vilakazi, Shalulile.

Subs: Pieterse, De Reuck, Kapinga, Mkhuma, Maboe, Motupa, Lakay.
