Teams: Chippa United v AmaZulu
Date: 29 February 2020
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Chippa United and AmaZulu will be fighting for survival when they clash in the Absa Premiership on Saturday evening at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The Chilli Boys' woes continued after being booted out of the Nedbank Cup in the last 16 by Bidvest Wits on Monday night.
Norman Mapeza's charges have not tasted victory in their last five league matches, while Chippa's latest setback in the league was a 3-0 drubbing by Mamelodi Sundowns two weeks ago.
The Chilli Boys are stuck in 12th place, just two points above the drop zone and another defeat could sink them into the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Usuthu are also struggling after suffering their fourth loss in their last five league games after going down 2-1 to neighbors Golden Arrows two weeks ago.
AmaZulu are languishing at the bottom of the log but they are three points from safety and could leapfrog Chippa with victory.
The Chilli Boys won the corresponding fixture 2-0 in November last year thanks to a brace by William Twala at Princess Magogo Stadium.
