Marumo Gallants are believed to be weighing up a big decision regarding head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, who has made a strong impression since his recent appointment, the Siya crew has learnt.
Despite only joining the club last month on a short-term deal until the end of the season, Ouaddou has quickly revitalised the team, guiding them away from relegation threats and instilling a more attractive style of play.

Under his leadership, Gallants have played six Betway Premiership matches, securing three wins, one draw, and suffering just two defeats.
Notably, one of those wins came against title contenders Orlando Pirates, showcasing the team’s newfound competitiveness and tactical organisation.
Although Gallants were narrowly knocked out of the Nedbank Cup semi-finals by Pirates with a 1-0 loss on Sunday, the club’s management is said to be highly impressed with the progress and potential under Ouaddou’s guidance.
Sources close to the club suggest that discussions are set to be started regarding a possible contract extension, as they see long-term potential in the 46-year-old French-Moroccan tactician.

A final decision on his future is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
“The club has been impressed with the work ethic of the coach, and they are interested in keeping him for long. They see a future with him in charge and they would like for the relationship to continue. The decision will be made in the coming weeks,” said the source.
