Mamelodi Sundowns left back Asekho Tiwani is in a tough position of not knowing whether he will be at the Africa Cup of Nations with the national under-20 side or with Mamelodi Sundowns on their quest to conquer the continent.
As captain of the national under-20 team, Tiwani would love to be part of the side going to Egypt to compete at AFCON at the end of the month. But that is not in his control.

With Sundowns competing to try to win the Champions League and Betway Premiership, the club could decide to hold onto him as teams are not obliged to release players to go play at the competition in Egypt.
And, should Sundowns progress to the final of the Champions League, it could be even harder for the club to let him be part of Amajita, as the under-20 national team is affectionately known.
"They have not said anything. I think any youngster would be happy to go represent his country because it's a big tournament. You are not representing yourself. Yes, I'd be happy (to join the squad), but it's not up to me. The team will decide," Tiwani told media at Chloorkop on Thursday.

"At this stage, I don't know (if he will be joining the squad)."
South Africa's under-20s will kickstart their AFCON with a Group A clash against hosts Egypt on April 27.
