The story
Despite not getting onto the scoresheet in Masandawana's impressive come-from-behind win over Marumo Gallants on Wednesday, Thapelo Morena has grabbed all the attention for his emergency cameo as a goalkeeper.
Onyango was shown his second red card of the season in the 90th minute during Sundowns' 3-1 win over Marumo Gallants on Wednesday. The goalkeeper came out of his box and collided with substitute Gabadinho Mhango, resulting in a second booking.
With no more substitutions available, Morena was forced to finish the match in goal for the Brazilians, seeing him play out the last 10 minutes of stoppage time.
During the post-match celebrations, the Free-State born and raised star, who started out at the now defunct Bloemfontein Celtic, was serenaded by the passionate Celtic fans at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.
