The story
Liverpool secured their 20th English top-flight title, equaling the record after a resounding 5-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.
It is only their second title in the Premier League era and the first time they have celebrated in front of fans since 1990, as their 2020 victory occurred in a nearly empty stadium due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Siya Kolisi, a passionate Liverpool and Kaizer Chiefs supporter, joined the passionate fans outside the Anfield cauldron to celebrate the triumph before kick-off.
The Sharks forward was in the United Kingdom for the KZN outfit's two-match United Rugby Championship tour of Scotland and Northern Ireland, where they secured wins over Edinburgh and Ulster.
Kolisi made his third visit to Anfield this calendar year to join in on the league title celebrations, rocking club icon and former captain, Steven Gerrard’s number 8 jersey from the 2004/2005 season.
