Around 90 000 supporters witness a Soweto Derby cracker on Saturday afternoon when Jose Riveiro's side outlasted Cavin Johnson's Chiefs in a 3-2 win.

Monnapule Saleng's brace and Thabiso Lebitso's sizzling strike helped the Buccaneers climb to second place in the DStv Premiership table, with Amakhosi now languishing in seventh.

President Cyril Ramaphosa caught the action live at the FNB Stadium, where he was given a warm welcome by Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr. and the club's Football Manager, Bobby Motaung.

The President was in a joyful mood as he was accompanied by Minister of Sport, Arts Culture, Zizi Kodwa and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, who sat next to him during the encounter, as well as SAFA President, Danny Jordaan.

President Ramaphosa was also happy to see Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos and his assistant, Helman Mkhalele and appeared to congratulate them for their bronze medal finish at this year's Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast:
