The story
After releasing an eccentric and unforgettable 2023/24 Home kit, adidas and Orlando Pirates could be set to keep things simple for the upcoming season.
It was a very successful 2023/24 campaign for the Buccaneers, with Spaniard Jose Riveiro leading his chargers to a second consecutive cup double (MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup).
The Sea Robbers lifted both trophies in their Home jersey, masterminded by award-winning fashion designer, Thebe Magugu. The kit featured a motif of the famous Pirates skull and bones, with a pistachio green Away kit following the same template.
This leaked Pirates jersey doing the rounds on social media seems to follow the current Adidas Tiro 24 template, which is also the base of the Adidas 2024 national team kits and their 2024/25 club kits.
This Pirates kit sees adidas use the club's standard black colour as the base, with red finishings on the adidas three stripes on the sleeves, the collar and two red hues on the opposing sides in the front of the shirt.
