In a funny Instagram story shared by Bafana Bafana and SuperSport United striker Zakhele Lepasa, a fan hilariously mistook Linda Mntambo for his former Orlando Pirates teammate Xola Mlambo.
Lepasa and Mntambo roared with laughter when the fan said he recognised the latter due to his facial hair.

Mntambo mistaken for Mlambo
Sekhukhune United star Linda Mntambo had an entertaining time riding in a car with his close friend Zakhele Lepasa yesterday, when the SuperSport United striker got a fan to guess who Linda Mntambo is.
The fan was interacting with the DStv Premeirship stars through Lepasa's passenger window, where Mntambo was seated and he asked the enthusiastic fan to guess Figo's name.
Almost unsure of his answer, the fan steadily replied by saying Mntambo is Xola Mlambo, which sent the two ballers into rapturous laughter, with Lepasa reassuring the mistaken supporter that it is Mlambo.

The fan then went on to point out that he recognises the 33-year-old midfielder due to his sweaty goatee when watching him in action.
Mlambo went on to respond to the lighthearted moment by cheekily asking Mntambo to shave the goatee. Mlambo and Mntambo played together at the Buccaneers between 2018 and 2020, with the former leaving in 2020 and Mntambo leaving the Sea Robbers at the end of last season.
