The Clever Boys are now playing in the CCC for the second season in a row, and having gone out in last year's preliminary round, they will be hoping to put on a better showing this season.
LighStars haven't had the best of times in the league in recent years, finishing the relegation playoff spot in 2012, 2013 and 2014, while this year they finished just above the dropzone in eighth place.
However, their good cup run last year saw them go on to lift the FA Cup trophy and qualify for the 2016 CCC, their first ever continental tournament.
Their head coach, James Barra, oversaw his side's 4-2 friendly win over La Passe last weekend in their final preparation game, with goals from Malagasy Mario Ravo, Bertrand Lablache and Renick Esther.
Gavin Hunt's side take on LightStars at Amitie Stadium in Praslin on Saturday afternoon.
