Thamsanqa Gabuza Shares The Golden Boot Award
Thamsanqa Gabuza and Baghdad Bounedjah finished the CAF Confederation Cup campaign, as the tournament's top goalscorers.   Read: Etoile Edge Bucs To Win Confed Cup   The Buccaneers striker went into the final having already scored six goals, level with Etoile du Sahel's Baghdad Bounedjah.   However, Gabuza did not add to his tally in the final, as the Buccaneers lost 1-0 to Etoile, while Bounedjah failed to add to his tally after getting injured in the 20th minute against Pirates.   CF Mounana forward, Georges Ambourouet, is also eligible for the award, as he also bagged six goals, as they were eliminated by the Buccaneers in the second round of qualifiers.   However, Etoile skipper, Ammar Jemal, scored the game's only goal in the second leg tie, which also saw him join Kermit Erasmus on five goals in this campaign.   CAF Confederation Cup top scorers:   Six goals:   Thamsanqa Gabuza (Orlando Pirates) Baghdad Bounedjah (Etoile du Sahel) Georges Ambourouet (CF Mounana)   Five goals:   Kermit Erasmus (Orlando Pirates) Ammar Jemal (Etoile du Sahel)
