As things currently stand, the Buccaneers may not play in Africa next year, but striker Thamsanqa Gabuza has revealed to the Siya crew that they have done their part as a team, by putting South Africa on the map.
'Ganda Ganda' as he is known in local football circles, said that the other PSL teams like Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town who will be competing in Africa next year, should continue from where Pirates left off.
"Every team wants to win the trophy that they compete in and it was unfortunate that we didn't, but we have done our part.
"I can't say how the other teams should prepare or play in Africa, but they should go out there and do their best just like we did our best."
