Orlando Pirates travel to the Tunisian outfit for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup final on Sunday with the first leg finishing 1-1.
Ertugral, who coached Tunisian outfit Club Africain from 2003 to 2004 and faced Etoile during that time, expects that the Buccaneers will face a hostile atmosphere from their hosts.
"Etoile is one of the very strong sides in Tunisia. The two big front-runners are always Esperance and Club Africain, which I coached," Ertugral told Soccer Laduma.
"At home, they are always a force to be reckoned with. It is really tough there and I remember some of my games there with Club Africain. Very intimidating and passionate supporters!
"I remember when I went to Tunisia with Kaizer Chiefs to play Africain in the same competition. They had not lost a game in all competitions in years.
"I remember after we went 1-0 up, their supporters got so mad! They set a section of the stadium on fire! The police had to intervene."
