The 51-year-old has dismissed reports that the match against their opponents from the Seychelles will not be taken seriously and, has assured fans that he will pick a strong team to secure the win.
"We take every competition we play very seriously and we have a first-string squad for this tournament," he told the Siya crew.
"We want to start with a win today and to do that we need to have a strong squad."
Light Stars are currently eighth in the Seychelles First Division, but Hunt believes that his team's performances in Africa will be important and that they will be fully focussed on the game.
"All teams we are fighting the league title with locally are playing in Africa and we should also do that to keep the team fit and working at all times. We are focusing on this game today and we want nothing less than a win," Hunt explained.
The Clever Boys are currently second in the PSL standings, but have lost three of their last six league matches.
