The Buccaneers have clearly been doing their homework ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup final and Tinkler expects the Tunisian side to be solid defensively and play on the counter attack.
Etoile have won all of their home games in the competition notably beating Egyptian giants, Zamalek, 5-1 in the first leg of their semi-final, which means that the first leg at Orlando Stadium will be very important for Bucs.
"Even at home they were not that great, apart from their surprise 5-1 win against Zamalek. The rest of the games were close wins that could have gone either way," Tinkler told Soccer Laduma.
"Most of their goals came from set pieces, which is an area of their game they are very good at. They like to play on the counter attack and defend very well.
"They are very well-organised, well-structured defensively and it is very difficult to break them down.
"Counter attacking is their strength and a lot of people say that's our strength as well. We have been analysing the team with our players to show them their strengths and weaknesses."
