SuperSport United progressed to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup, after claiming a 2-1 win over Elgeco Plus in the preliminary round.

SuperSport eventually broke the deadlock in the tie as Jeremy Brockie converted a penalty in the 12th minute.
However, the visitors leveled matters five minutes later to make level on the day and 1-1 on aggregate.
Stuart Baxter's charges restored their lead in the 37th minute as Fagre Lakay turned well before firing home his first goal for the club.
The home side managed to see out the rest of the half as they went into the halftime break leading.
Baxter opted for a double change at the start of the second half, as Cole Alexander and Keagan Ritchie replaced Aubrey Modiba and Onismor Bhasera.
Elgeco Plus had a couple chances of their own but, Pule produced a couple fine saves, while Lakay squandered a chance to extend his side's lead after 70 minutes.
The hosts managed to see out the closing stages, with Grant Kekana making a vital block to deny the visitors an equaliser.
The score remained 2-1 at the final whistle, as the Tshwane outfit joins Platinum Stars in the next round.
SuperSport will now face Sudan outfit Al-Ahly Shendi in the next round of qualifiers.
