Bidvest Wits secured a 3-0 win over Light Stars in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup tie.
Gavin Hunt's side got off to an encouraging start and took the lead after seven minutes through veteran defender, Dillon Sheppard.
The Clever Boys managed to double their advantage after 25 minutes courtesy of a strike from Subisio Vilakazi.
After an impressive start, Wits led their Seychelles counter-parts 2-0 at the halftime break.
Hunt's charges managed to grab a third away goal after the hour-mark, as Marcus Lecki scored via a set-piece situation.
The South African outfit managed to see out the rest of the second half and claim a vital 3-0 away in the Seychelles.
Wits will now host Light Stars at the Bidvest Stadium in the second long on 27 February.
