SuperSport United played out a 0-0 draw with Elgeco Plus in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary first round tie.

There wasn't much goal-mouth action to write home about in the opening 15 minutes, although Boafela Pule was called into action on one occasion.
Thabo Mnyamane went close for the visitors just before the halftime break, as the forward pulled his effort wide after being played in by Michael Morton.
SuperSport went close after 50 minutes as Keagan Ritchie's header found Clayton Daniels, who headed wide of the upright, before Fagrie Lakay rattled up post a minute later.
Jeremy Brockie returned to action for SuperSport, as he replaced Dean Furman after 65 minutes.
Brockie was presented with a chance to hand the visitors the led after 73 minutes, but he fired straight at the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation.
Pule was proving to be the difference in the match, as the SuperSport shot-stopper produced two fine saves to ensure the match ended goalless
