The Clever Boys will leave for the Seychelles this week to take on FA Cup winners, LightStars FC, as they get their CCC campaign underway for the year.
Using a mix of first team players and youngsters from their Multichoice Diski Challenge side, Wits will be hoping to put in a performance in the Seychelles ahead of the return leg in Johannesburg at the end of the month.
The decision to register 30 players in the first registration period means that, should Wits make it into the group stages, they will have to play using the current players and will not be able to add any new recruits that may be brought in at the end of the season.
