The Clever Boys won 3-0 away from home against LightStats of the Seychelles before putting six past them in a 6-0 win at Bidvest Stadium this weekend, cruising into the next round of fixtures.
However, Gavin Hunt's side may have a more difficult time against Tanzanian Premier League runners-up, Azam, who received a bye into the first round and missed out the preliminary stages.
Azam won their domestic league in 2014 but were knocked out of the CAF Champions League in 2015 by Al Merreikh of Sudan in the preliminary round.
This season the Tanzanians are battling it out for the league title once again, and currently find themselves with just one loss in their last 25 games in all competitions, winning 20 of those matches as they moved up the table.
Wits will host the first leg of the tie in Johannesburg on the weekend of March 11th – 13th, with the second leg in Tanzania taking place the following weekend in Dar es Salaam.
