Pitso Mosimane Has Shared His Thoughts After The CAF Champions League Clash

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane admits that coming up against Rayon Sports was not an easy encounter.

The Brazilians played to a 0-0 draw in the first round of the CAF Champions League campaign last night in Rwanda, this before returning to Mzansi to gear up for domestic action.

Speaking after the game, Head Coach Mosimane congratulated the Rayon Sports side, praising the team and coach for their performances in the first leg.

"First I want to say, congratulations to the coach, a good game. Congratulations to Rayon Sports, I think they played very well. A different game, from my opinion it was a game of two halves, I think the first half we took it, but I think the second half, probably the coach gave a good team talk there, they came out stronger in the second half," Mosimane told the media after the game.

"I was not happy with my team in the first half. I think my two centre backs and the goalkeeper played well to defend against the fast attack of Rayon Sports.

"The attack was dangerous, they had a good attack, the play on the left with Tshabalala, they had a good speed behind our defenders. They are a good team," he added.

Sundowns will host Rayon Sports on March 18, for the second leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League.

"I expect a tough game, was this easy? It was tough here football is like that. It is going to be tough. But I don't know how Rayon Sports play away, so we are home," Mosimane said.
